RE/MAX Alliance Agents Win 3rd Place In Chili Cook-Off

Congratulations to RE/MAX Alliance - Evergreen agents for taking 3rd place in the 10th Annual Big Chili Cook-Off held at the Evergreen Lake House on September 11, 2011.

The agents were awarded 3rd place in the Red Chili category for Chef Suzanne Anderson’s chili. Pictured in the photo from left to right is Dawn Kempf, Katherine Fleet, Suzanne Anderson & Cindy Detlefs. Other agents who participated but are not pictured in the photo are Maureen Bonk & Brad Eich.

The day featured a chili cook-off competition, live music, the Firefighter's Challenge competition, juried Art Show, photo booths, and children's activities.

RE/MAX Alliance agents Ed and Marilyn Getsch answer questions regarding the current real estate market and what’s happening specifically in the Westminster area. What are today’s consumers most concerned with when it comes to buying and selling real estate?

Buyers in the 2011 market are, without question, looking for the most living space in a home. First-time buyers or "move-up" buyers from our experience are concerned about the low interest rates. We frequently see buyers asking sellers to pay a portion of the closing costs. Sellers are becoming more realistic when it comes to the bottom line asking price on their home. Buyers are narrowing down their desired neighborhood, floor plan and price range much faster in our Westminster neighborhoods.

RE/MAX Alliance is proud to announce that agent Denice Reich has been named to the top 100 of all RE/MAX Associates. By special invitation from RE/MAX founder Dave Liniger, Reich participated in the RE/MAX Symposium. The Symposium gathers together the top 100 RE/MAX agents. There are over 90,000 RE/MAX brokers worldwide. Reich ranked number 85 out of the top 100 for 2010!

This year’s Symposium was a two-day event that included speakers Dave Liniger and Margaret Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX. The agents participated in smaller break-off meetings throughout the event where they had the opportunity to discuss ideas. “This was hands down one of the best meetings I have ever experienced,” said Reich. “The ideas discussed from other top brokers around the world were incredible!” The top agent from Italy, Israel and Mexico were also in attendance.
