RE/MAX Alliance Takes Great Pride In Giving-Back to The Community!

The primary objective of any company or organization should be to make their community a better place to live. Chad Ochsner, Broker Owner of RE/MAX Alliance, believes if you help those less fortunate, everyone benefits.

“Real estate is a service oriented industry,” said Ochsner. “Realtors are called upon to serve, volunteer and donate their time and efforts to help others. Being actively involved in community fundraising events and local charities is a way of giving back.”

RE/MAX Alliance’s principal company involvement over the years has been the Children’s Miracle Network, including 10 years of volunteering for the Alice’s 36 Hours for Kids radiothon. The 2010 RE/MAX Alliance Charity Golf Tournament was held in August at the Riverdale Dunes and Knolls Golf Club in Brighton, Colorado. The tournament raised a record breaking $67,063. RE/MAX Alliance Recognized and Inducted Into The Mae B. Boettcher Society.

RE/MAX Alliance, the 3rd largest RE/MAX franchise in the world, is proud to announce being recognized by the Mae B. Boettcher Society as a qualifying donor to The Children’s Hospital Foundation. RE/MAX Alliance has donated nearly $120,000 annually to The Children’s Miracle Network through generous donations from their agents and community events. The Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for pediatric hospitals. The pledge of Children’s Miracle Network is that all funds raised benefit the Children’s Hospital in the area. In Denver, the new Children’s Hospital is the beneficiary of the generous donations from RE/MAX Alliance Broker/Owners, agents and employees.

RE/MAX Alliance supports this effort by sponsoring the annual RE/MAX Alliance Children’s Miracle Network Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network at The Children’s Hospital. Associates, celebrities and miracle families are invited to participate in this event. The funds raised help support the treatment of all children and the continuing search for some of the most common, yet currently incurable diseases.

The Mae B. Boettcher Society acknowledges donors who have contributed $250,000 to $999,999 throughout their lifetimes to The Children’s Hospital. The Boettcher Society will launch this spring with 164 members including individuals, corporations, foundations, associations and organizations. RE/MAX Alliance representatives will participate June 7, 2010 for an inaugural event recognizing this extraordinary group of philanthropists.

Mae Boettcher’s passion for The Children’s Hospital stemmed from her service on the Children’s Board of Directors from 1951 until 1976. Her involvement led to philanthropic support and influence, including the Boettcher Foundation’s historic $5 million gift to the Imagine the Miracles Campaign for The Children’s Hospital. Mae Boettcher has touched many lives through her philanthropy.

“Through the continued support of our staff, agents, friends and family, we believe we can truly make a difference in the lives of youth in the Rocky Mountain region. And…our children are our future”, stated Chad Ochsner, Broker/Owner. “RE/MAX Alliance cares a great deal about the community and is committed to actively supporting local organizations and causes through fundraising efforts and involvement from its associates. Children’s Miracle Network is near and dear to us, and just one of the many ways we can give back. ”, Ochsner added.

For the eighth straight year, radio station Alice 105.9 embarked from its normal format to broadcast live from the hospital, highlighting the incredible stories of hope and miracles that take place at this highly regarded facility. The generous broker associates with RE/MAX Alliance have been in integral part of this important fundraising effort over the years, helping raise more than $1 million annually for CMN.
