RE/MAX Alliance Agent Joanne Eskildsen Sells Unique Log Home in Record Time!

In this demanding real estate market, selling a home in record time for full-price rarely happens. RE/MAX Alliance agent Joanne Eskildsen accomplished that goal when she sold her personal residence in Greeley in a matter of hours after placing an on-line advertisement.

Eskildsen has been an active Realtor for thirty-four years and is a former president of the Greeley Area Association of Realtors. She has been associated with RE/MAX Alliance in Greeley since 2011.

Eskildsen designed the home over thirty years ago for herself and her two sons. "I raised two boys here by myself," said Eskildsen. "I designed the house for the three of us. I didn't worry about resale at all." She had grown-up in a log home in Minnesota and envisioned one day again living in a log home. Eskildsen has purchased other unusual properties in Estes Park and Steamboat Springs. She said buying unique properties is a hobby for her.

"I always dreamed of building a log home, after growing up in one as a child," she said. "That was just a happy time in our lives, I guess, as a child. It was a neat house and a neat floor plan."

Like many other home sales across the Front Range, the new buyers were a local couple living only a few blocks away. Eskildsen had sold the homes that many of her neighbors lived in.
