RE/MAX Alliance Recognized as #1 in the U.S. at the 37th Annual RE/MAX Convention in Las Vegas!

RE/MAX Alliance was honored at this year’s RE/MAX Annual Convention by receiving two major awards during the awards celebration. The first award recognized RE/MAX Alliance as the largest RE/MAX network of offices in the United States, with the follow-up award announcing that RE/MAX Alliance is #2 for Sales Volume in the U.S. and #6 in the world!

“The owners of RE/MAX Alliance attribute the awards to our amazing associates who have adapted while growing and thriving in a challenging market. They are still being successful in the business and providing their clients with quality service,” said Chad Ochsner, Broker Owner of RE/MAX Alliance. “The awards…simply put….are our retention awards for 2010.”
Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada played host to 6,000 RE/MAX Affiliates that represented over 63 countries across the world. Each year thousands of RE/MAX Affiliates gather to network, learn new strategies and techniques, and gain insight from real estate industry trainers and economic experts from around the world. Over 100 associates representing RE/MAX Alliance were in attendance this year.

“This event was 2nd to none! The enthusiasm and energy coming from the agents was absolutely great,” said Walt Hager, Conifer RE/MAX Alliance agent. “The messages that came from each session were fantastic. The highlight for me was the REO and Short sale sessions, which are very relevant in today’s market. RE/MAX did a phenomenal job with the new format and class structure.”

The theme for this year’s convention was R4. Recharge, revolutionize, reward and rethink. Keynote speakers included Margaret Kelly, Dave Liniger, Joe Theisman and Gary Vaynerchuk. Major themes of this year’s convention included distressed properties, technology enhancements and getting back to real estate basics. American R&B and funk band, Earth, Wind and Fire entertained the agents on the final night of the convention.

“I have attended close to 10 international events and this year’s convention has been my favorite so far,” said Ed Getsch, Westminster RE/MAX Alliance agent. “The convention was a value packed event offering various tools and solutions to help better serve my clients. This event shows how much RE/MAX cares about the organization and the associates that make-up each and every office.”

RE/MAX Alliance owner Chuck Ochsner and Gene Vaughan, co-owners of RE/MAX Alliance of Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley, hosted a gathering for Alliance associates, which provided a great opportunity for the RE/MAX Alliance family to gather in celebration of a successful year.
